Well, the road had other plans for us…

We were already making our way through the gorgeous Colorado scenery toward Colorado Springs when we got the unfortunate news that our show had been canceled. A fire next door to the venue meant that events in the surrounding area couldn’t go forward.

We were so looking forward to unleashing DEADGRACE on you, Colorado Springs. Gutted we couldn’t make it happen, but hopefully our paths will cross again.

So, back to Denver we went! An unexpected night off turned into an epic pizza party with the band and some family who happened to be in town. Sometimes the best memories are the ones you never planned.

Next stop: ALBUQUERQUE, NEW MEXICO.

We rolled into our RV park late at night and were greeted by a sky full of stars. A few of us laid down on the rocks, bundled up in our hoodies, the crisp night wind wrapping around us as we stared into the endless darkness above. One of those rare moments where everything goes quiet and the universe puts on its own show.

Woke up surrounded by wide-open fields and horses. A little peace before the storm.

And tonight, we brought the storm.

ALBUQUERQUE, YOU WERE WILD. Seeing you pressed up against the front of the stage, horns in the air, heads banging, feeding us that raw energy… THAT’S WHAT I’M TALKING ABOUT.

Nothing like watching a room come alive and surrender to the noise. Thank you for giving us one hell of a night.

Tomorrow, we hit the road for Phoenix with a day off to recharge before the final stretch.

TWO MORE SHOWS LEFT FOR DEADGRACE.

PHOENIX. LAS VEGAS.

The end is getting closer… but we’re not done bringing the fire just yet.

THE ROOM

Backstage is the smaller music room inside Revel, an entertainment complex at 4720 Alexander Boulevard NE, near I-25 and Montaño, next to Topgolf. The building used to be a Sports Authority store, and Daniel Chavez, who also started Uptown Funk Dueling Pianos, turned it into a food hall, sports bar and concert space. The first phase opened in March 2020 and closed again almost right away because of the pandemic.

Today Revel has a food court, the Draft Day sports bar and two music rooms: a Main Stage for up to 3,000 and Backstage, which holds about 500 and has its own bar.

NEXT

Phoenix, Rosetta Room, on the 22nd. Then Las Vegas, Swan Dive, on the 23rd. Dates and tickets are on the tour page.
