What a crowd.
Sacramento brought the energy from our very first notes. It was a hell of a show, and a really fun one for us.
Two shows in, the band is already starting to lock in.
Earlier in the day we found some really good Thai food. Turns out peanut sauce gives my big sax some extra fuel.
After the set I loved meeting you at the merch table and trading stories about your favorite bands. A few of you had come straight from Aftershock.
Two down, eleven to go.
THE ROOM
Harlow's opened at 2708 J Street in 1982. It started as a cafe, grew into a restaurant, and then started booking bands — "live and independent since 1982," as the venue puts it. It's named after the 1930s Hollywood actress Jean Harlow, and it holds roughly 400 people.
Upstairs is The Starlet Room, which began as six vacant apartments, became a cigar bar, then a dance club called Momo, and took its current name in 2019 — a starlet to go with Harlow.
NEXT
Portland, Star Theater, on the 9th. Then Seattle, Spokane, Salt Lake City, Denver, Grand Junction, Albuquerque, Phoenix, and Las Vegas. Dates and tickets are on the tour page.
